The Company
This rapidly growing tech company is pioneering the application of Machine Learning and AI to the banking and financial services space and has built large-scale enterprise applications.
Its platform is so far being used by in excess of over 20 financial services institutions across Australia and works to solve a major problem that faces all financial services institutions.
With strong backing, funding and a mandate to grow, this company is on the search for a Machine Learning Engineer (or Software Engineer – Machine Learning) to play a pivotal role in advancing the ML/AI development of their platform.
The Opportunity
As a Machine Learning/AI Engineer, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Taking ownership of the Machine Learning and AI component of the platform – this includes building and producing the platform, looking for enhancements and innovating through your ideas
This is through utilising your skill set in Python and NLP techniques, libraries, application of machine leaning models across big data environments
Skills and Experience
- Strong Python skills along with Machine Learning modelling – with application to production grade software
- Experience with NLP is advantageous although not essential
- Experience with AWS stack
- Strong familiarity with agile development methodologies and frameworks
