We are looking for a Senior SAP BI Analyst to provide specialist advice on SAP BI tools, and to lead support with the continuous improvement of SAP BW within our Clients Finance and Investment Department.
You will take a lead role and provide expertise in resolving complex data issues by tracing issues back to the source and supporting remedial work. This is where your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will be key. In addition to this you'll be involved in their current finance programmes and projects, and have input into their new Finance Reporting Strategy.
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate solid experience in the following areas:
- Proven experience of providing specialist advice on SAP BI tools including data warehousing and BW reporting in a similar role
- Ability to provide Lead Level 2 SAP support, providing expertise for BW, following established methodology through Solution Manager
- Ability to Design, enhance and / or develop data views using BI toolsets
- Resolve complex data issues that necessitate tracing data back to source systems and understanding ETL logic
- Development and maintenance of the reporting environment
- Constructing requirement definitions and documentation when required
- Completion of BI outputs documentation
- A solid understanding of the SAP landscape to ensure implementation of an optimal solution
Excellent English language communication skills coupled with first rate interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Technical ability alone will not suffice!
