We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Research and Development team in Adelaide where you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the suite of laser scanner platforms and their supporting technology.
Core responsibilities
- Developing, coordinating and delivering desktop application software, primarily for Maptek hardware products operating in Production, Service and R&D
- Test and verification of design as per requirements
- Maintenance and modification of existing applications
- Contribution to designs and perform duties as relating to all Maptek hardware/software projects Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Excellent analytical skills and an enjoyment of problem solving
- A good knowledge of C++ and interface libraries such as Qt
- Familiarity with embedded Linux platforms would be an advantage
- Familiarity with software build and test environments
