We're is seeking an exceptional, dynamic, self motivated individual to add to our team.

Your role as Software Developer - Integrations will involve producing client applications which integrate with partner on-premise systems. This software is distributed to hundreds of clients around Australia and beyond.

The successful applicant will have experience in producing Windows Desktop and Windows Service software. Our software aims to provide 24x7 uptime, so you must demonstrate the ability to create highly resilient, fault tolerant software which runs well in a large variety of operating environments.

You will have exceptional analytical skills which allow you to observe and understand third party systems functionality in order to integrate our products into partner systems.

Our partner systems use a variety of data access technologies, from HTTP APIs to SQL Server and other RDBMS products. You will demonstrate your flexibility and ability to self-research and learn new technologies quickly and effectively to adapt to each partner system’s technology stack.

But your abilities need not end there. We are seeking individuals who show initiative and contribute to our collaborative team environment. You won’t be pigeonholed in this role, you will be expected to take whatever steps you feel is necessary to provide a great outcome to our customers. In doing so, you will be working directly across teams, from development to support and sales. This is an opportunity to test your capabilities and grow your skills across the whole product delivery process.

Technologies:

• C# .NET 3.5 and onwards (VB.Net and F# also advantageous) - 5 Years +

• SQL Server or other RDBMS products - 5 Years +

• Windows Service and Desktop (Forms/WPF) development experience - 3 Years +

• Web Services, WCF, Web APIs and other HTTP based data technologies - 3 Years +

• Experience with LINQ and functional programming - 3 Years +

Skills:

• Self motivated with ability to work independently from high level requirements rather than detailed specifications

• Strong analytical skills

• Proficient in developing with and diagnosing issues with concurrent processes in distributed systems

• Experience with data synchronization and disconnected systems

• Customer/outcome focussed

• Knowledge and application of industry best practices

• Understanding and practice of SOLID

• Practice of unit testing methodologies (TDD/BDD)
