We are currently seeking an IT Support person to join our team in a permanent full time role at our office in Melbourne Northern Suburbs.

You will be first point of call for all IT needs, but will have backup support from higher-level technical professionals as required. It is a small team where you will work closely with and provide ongoing day-to-day support to a variety of remote and local users.

Key responsibilities

  • Windows troubleshooting
  • Hardware and software support
  • Basic networking
  • Mobile phone/device support
  • Support IT/office equipment
  • Managing user accounts in Active Directory & Exchange and software applications
  • Maintain IT asset register
  • Escalate issues to relevant teams as necessary

Key requirements

This role requires previous hands-on IT support experience. The successful candidate must also be reliable and an excellent communicator.

  • Experience working in an IT Service Desk or Level 1 Support Role
  • Excellent communication skills, including face-to-face, phone manner and written
  • Windows/Active Directory/Exchange experience
  • Basic Networking experience
  • Strong MS Office Suite support skills, MS Access/database knowledge could be an advantage
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Reliability to follow issues through to complete resolution
  • Able to multi-task
