A rare opportunity has arisen for a driven Business Analyst to join our team at our Head Office based in Eagle Farm. This is an exciting role for a confident and motivated analyst to join a well-established company and work within a strong team.
Reporting to the Business Analytics Manager, you will be a part of a motivated and fast paced environment focusing on developing strong relationships with internal business leaders and providing them with information and financial analysis that drive business decisions. This is a challenging role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong time management ability and a high level of enthusiasm and self-motivation. Your Responsibilities include:
- Provide insights, analysis and forecasting to business leaders on key business performance metrics to enhance decision making and overall business performance
- Proactively analyse Financial and Operational data to initiate change aimed at improving business performance
- Extract and analyse data for key business units
- Develop and prepare Business Intelligence tools/dashboards and reports
- Business unit profit and loss reporting
- Undertake time in motion studies across various business units to improve efficiencies
- Assist in Customer, Sales and Revenue analysis
- Undertake ad hoc business analytical projects as required
You as the successful candidate will offer:
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced excel skills are essential
- Tertiary qualified with business analysis background will be advantageous
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as SQL, Python, R and Tableau will be highly regarded
- Practical application or strong theoretical knowledge of mathematical modelling
- Strong understanding of supervised or unsupervised machine learning
- Effective time management skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks effectively
- Proven ability to build strong cross-business understandings of people, processes and information flows
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally
- High attention to detail is a must!
