Headquartered in Melbourne CBD, RACV’s Roadside Assistance Systems (RAS) Support department is dynamic, fast paced and interesting environment. With a number of projects in the pipeline an opportunity has arisen for a Systems Support Analyst to join the team. As the successful candidate you will be highly analytical with a strong grasp on data, and demonstrate the ability to learn new systems and their dynamics very quickly. Strong communication skills coupled with a solutions-oriented attitude will succeed in this position.

What your responsibilities will include:

• Developing appropriate system solutions to meet business needs;
• Providing technical support for all RAS technological platforms (including system administration of client server based system, managing voice/data communications protocol, and maintaining RAS hardware infrastructure
• Conducting analysis, developing recommendations and producing reports
• Making recommendations and providing technical advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding RAS performance, upgrades and system enhancements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Demonstrated knowledge in Oracle RDBMS, Access and Excel development tools, Visual Basic, PL/SQL Developer and Microsoft.net framework
• Proven experience in statistical analysis and statistical analysis tools
• Ability to relate well to people of all levels
• Project management skill to manage software development projects
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• A natural curiosity to extract insight from large data sets
