A local Fin-Tech company with a diverse client base are looking for a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager/ Technical Project Manager at taking the company into the next stages. An Australian owned and run business for more than 20 years, this company has serviced a significant amount of local businesses with a consistent level of growth.
Key accountabilities
- Apply a structured methodology to create a detailed project plan that identifies scope, quality, schedule, finances, resources, risks, issues and dependencies to a high standard.
- Provide project management support to the program and program manager.
- Produce regular reporting to various governance and stakeholder groups
- Participate in project forums and work with the stakeholder groups to ensure adherence to program methodologies and assure program and project outcomes
- Drive project deliverables through coordination with all relevant stakeholders and project teams
- Manage and resolve issues and act as the point of contact for the project.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years’ relevant experience; Solid and demonstrable end to end project management experience
- Must have experience working in an Agile, Software environment
- Experience of working in Fin-Tech Industry
- PRINCE2 certification
- Experience working with developers in technical projects
- Prior experience in a product software environment will be highly regarded
- Flexible, has a collaborative approach, Strong communication, engagement and influencing skills
- Proven success in planning and initiating large and complex projects with a minimum 5 year plus experience in program or project management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and monitor project plans, including detailed resource scheduling, milestones and task dependencies.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to successfully manage complex issues
- Demonstrated a high level of personal motivation, organisation and productivity
