Due to an exciting period of growth we have a new opportunity for a Work Management Systems (WMS) Administrator (Data) to join the Pulse project team in Burwood. The purpose of the WMS Administrator role is to be a subject matter expert for Pulse data management.
About the role
The successful person in this role will manage and maintain data within the Pulse environment. They will develop expert data analysis and understand the data requirements for different clients within the Pulse environment. This is a pivotal role within the Ventia Pulse solution and is critical to the success of Ventia’s business goals and strategy.
Some key responsibilities will be to:
- Become the SME for data within the Pulse BAU support team.
- Understand, manage and maintain the import and ETL processes from the various data sources interfacing with Pulse.
- Undertake manual data input where required.
- Respond to data queries.
- Administer Access Management to the Pulse components.
- Assist with regular Access Management audits.
- Provide guidance on Pulse data to teams in other areas of Ventia ICT.
- Ensure data management processes are documented and updated on a regular basis.
- Work closely with the Level 2 incident support team to analyse issues and undertake problem management.
- Liaise with vendors to manage support issues relating to data within Pulse.
- Apply continuous service improvements by streamlining processes and achieving efficiencies.
- Transition new enhancements from the Pulse project team and amend processes accordingly.
- Acts as a team player and assists colleagues and Ventia Management in successful business delivery and improvement of services.
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally hold a Tertiary Qualification in IT, related discipline or have some relevant experience in Data Administration.
You will have proven skills and experience in data input and management, and working with IT systems to support effective lifecycle management. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This role is ideal for a smart, enthusiastic graduate with a strong understanding of data structure and data management techniques, who is looking to add practical experience to their theoretical knowledge.
