The purpose of this role is to support a large scale supply chain project environment. You will provide end to end business analysis support by defining requirements, producing documentation and liaising between business and technology teams in order to make recommendations.
The role;
- Elicit, develop and document the business requirements and translate these into a functional and non-functional requirements documents, process and data flows; including data modelling, workflow context and design, business architecture mapping and customer experience mapping, business concept documents and use cases
- Lead and facilitate the business requirements workshops and translate raw business requirements into workable detailed business requirements for IT Business Analysts
- Proactively seek and identify system enhancements of existing systems or new ones which will positively contribute to revenue or reduced costs to the business and ultimately build the business case
- Manage and influence the interaction between the business and the IT Teams / external vendors (when applicable) to ensure effective delivery of system solutions
Your background;
- Experienced Business Analyst with a background in supply chain, logistics and / or transport
- Exposure to the full SDLC through end to end business analysis
- The ability to translate effectively between business and technology teams
- Demonstrated experience with techniques such as use case analysis, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentation
