Great opportunity to secure a Melbourne based contract role within a fast pace utilities project and start ASAP!!

Our client requires the services of a Business Analyst who possesses extensive utilities industry experience to join their close-knit team and assist with an energy trading project.

Keys skills, previous experience, personality traits, and responsibilities will include, yet are not limited to:

• 8+ years commercial experience which will include 3+ years Business Analysis experience gained within the utilities sector

• A background in trading, energy trading, merchant banking or similar is mandatory

• Excellent understanding of the utilities industry procedures, processors, systems, support structures and regulations

• Experience identify business requirements, defining future state business processes and solution design

• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyse business processes and workflows

• Experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies preferred, and able to bring ‘fresh’ ideas to the project team

• Able to facilitate workshops and focus groups

• Experience developing business requirements

• Solid stakeholder management skills

• Strong requirements gathering and analysis skillsets

• Must possess a customer focused attitude that sees you take pride in delivering on commitments and results on time and to budget
