A large, complex government organisation is seeking an experienced Organisational Change Management professional to drive the implementation of mulitple projects forming a business transformation program. Working closely with various professionals, the successful candidate will ultimately have the ability to communicate, negotiate and influence change at all levels, including executive levels.

This is an initial 12 month contract opportunity, with 2 x 6 month extension options, located in Brisbane's northern suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the OCM strategy, plan and schedule to support the program and its constituent projects.
  • Work with program and project resources to identify key stakeholder groups and develop appropriate engagement strategies and change champion networks.
  • Identify risks and issues associated with Organisational Change Management and develop and manage appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Develop organisational change activity plans and deliver change readiness activities to prepare stakeholders for the change.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure they are adequately supported through the change.
  • Provide input and cost estimates to support the development of program and respective project Business Cases.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent stakeholder management, organisational coordination, collaboration, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • A detailed knowledge and understanding of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • A minimum of 5 years OCM consulting experience working in a similar capacity on ICT projects in a PRINCE2 environment.
  • Intermediate skills in Visio, Excel and PowerPoint are required.

Highly Desirable:

  • Professional change management qualifications
