Our Client, an industry leader and global digital intelligence solutions corporation, is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Forensic Specialist (TFS) / Security Engineer, to provide expert support to our customers by performing specialized services within the CBFL and on-site at customer labs.
The primary duties of this Senior Technical Forensic Specialist (TFS) / Security Engineer role will include but not be limited to:
- Respond to immediate investigational needs of the customer.
- Deliver feedback to the CAS Management for quality process improvement.
- Develop troubleshooting guidance for in-house and customer use.
- Brief and train the local Sales force in the region.
- Gather product feedback for Research & Product planning needs.
- Escalate complex and problematic cases to CAS Technical Director.
- Record lab activity in case management system in real-time.
To be considered for this Senior Technical Forensic Specialist (TFS) / Security Engineer position you must have:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in an Engineering or Technology field.
- Previous experience in Digital Forensics, Engineering Support or Technical Support.
- Experience in electronics or software quality testing – Asset.
- Understanding mobile extraction technology, mobile OS basics, locks, encryption (e.g. advanced UFED operation, physical extraction using dd+netcat).
- Basic sysadmin & IT troubleshooting skills on both Windows and Linux (e.g. command prompt, configure IP/DHCP, format a flash drive, package installation, zip/tar file archiving).
- Committed and enthusiastic about meeting law enforcement customer needs.
