Role Description

Part of the Software Development team, the senior business analyst is required to work with   the team to develop a greenfield software application. The Snr BA will work within an agile framework, and the development team, to write individual user stories that are clear and concise. Once the stories are developed the BA may be involved in exploratory testing and then the demonstration of the user story to the users.

  Essential requirements:

·          Minimum 5+ years as a Senior Business Analyst (preferably in Agile environments)

·          Must have experience writing User Stories and their acceptance tests, demonstrating software changes, and facilitating workshops

·          Demonstrated experience in documenting and modelling business processes (current and future state)

·          Experience using static prototypes (eg paper) to enable examination of the viability of a design concept.

·          Demonstrated experience in working with a range of stakeholders to document clear and traceable business requirements.

·          Demonstrated experience in working on both business and IT projects

·          Strong understanding of organizational change management

·          Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage expectations with senior stakeholders

·          Knowledge of Agile principles and development practices

·          Knowledge of Lean software development principles and practices

Desirable Skills

·          Knowledge of, and/or experience using, Design thinking methods

·          Experience conducting exploratory tests
