Currently, there is now a brand new opportunity for an experienced DataStage developer to lead a project and bring sound ETL principals to join their established IT division on a contract basis. This role is suitable for an individual who desires to take the next step in their career. You will work with some of the best in the industry, expand your technical horizons and grow your existing skills in this environment.
To be successful you will demonstrate experience with the DataStage development tools and also have excellent verbal and written communication skills
We require experience in most if not all of the following;
- 5+ years DataStage development experience
- excellent Data Mapping
- Strong analytical and SQL skills
- Experience in defining SAD (Systems Architect Design)
- Functional and Technical design documentation
- Experience working in complex technical environments with multiple applications/architectures
- Technical Leading exposure
- Strong Datastage skills
- Data profiling and Data warehouse modelling skills
- Exceptional SQL skills
- Experience with Cognos is preferable
- Display a solid understanding of source control techniques and change and stakeholder management
- The ability to lead a project
- Experience of Agile and traditional Waterfall/SDLC
