About the Job
With over 1200+ staff nationally, you will join an established IT Security Practice that has major vendor partnerships with Security Vendors such as Checkpoint, Cisco, Splunk, Palo Alto and Symantec to name a few. They offer a wide range of Perimeter, monitoring, vulnerability and SIEM services and solutions. The Senior Security Engineer/Consultant is responsible for leading the customer delivery across a wide range of security solutions and services. This role requires someone with a high level of IT Security knowledge across a wide range of technologies with a deep understanding and awareness of potential IT security threats that businesses across Australia must protect themselves from.

Responsibilities

• Leading the implementation and delivery of IT Security services and solutions.
• Implementation, Management and response to Security Incident Event Management.
• Report management considering risk and vulnerabilities.
• Work with services team to identify and implement security enhancements and upgrades.
• Coordinating, developing, and evaluating security programs.
• Recommending information assurance/security solutions to support customers ‘requirements.
• Identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations.
• Establishing and satisfying information assurance and security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
• Supporting customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies.
• Performing analysing, designing, and developing security features for system architectures.
• Analyzing and defining security requirements for computer systems which may include mainframes, workstations, and personal computers.

Professional Experience / ?Qualifications:

• Network Perimeter Security including Checkpoint, Cisco, Palo Alto and F5 firewalls
• SIEM experience with technologies such as Splunk and HP Arcsight
• Email gateways - SMTP, SPAM protection, Malware protection and content filtering
• Experience and knowledge conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Knowledge of information security and best practices, including the ability to manage and develop the delivery of IT security in a complex and dynamic business environment servicing multiple clients.
