We power our automotive partners to connect with customers. We have over 3,000 automotive partners across the country, creating and delivering multiple products such as website development, inventory display, data distribution, photography and analytics to help drive performance of our customers’ businesses.

Reporting to the CEO of Dealer Solutions, the General Manager Technology and Data is directly responsible for the successful performance of all technology and data functions across Dealer Solutions as well as providing the right resources and talent to deliver in line with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.

What would our General Manager Technology and Data do?

• Lead and build talent in the Technology and Data teams and understand the principles of operating lean.
• Develop and implement a Technology Strategy for the business that allows it to meet its strategic objectives and execute a plan that moves the business to a completely flexible cloud-based structure.
• Partner closely with the GM Product and Customer Experience to ensure Dealer Solutions has the right technology stack that allows our products to be best in class.
• Lead and drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across all technology functions and embedding agile processes with an absolute commitment to quality.
• Be accountable for the security, reliability, scalability and performance of systems and platforms.
• Be a champion of new and emerging technologies, applications and collaborates with other technology leaders and team members across Cox Automotive Australia to drive innovation and best practice. 

What would we like you to bring to the team?

• Significant experience in a similar medium to large organisation and legacy system migration, ideally with a coding background but with senior experience in helping bring digital products to life.
• Experience in understanding customer need and exposure to presenting to customers.
• Inspiring people leadership and talent development skills with proven experience in creating the best development team operating within an Agile environment.
• Ability to study, analyse and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Hold a current driver’s license.
