About the Role

We are seeking a SOE Rollout Technician/Coordinator to augment our client’s project. Based on our client’s site in Melbourne CBD you’ll be responsible for new device build, existing device re-image and user desk setup.
 

Duties

• NEW device build
  • Unpack device
  • Connect to network
  • Follow documented SOE build process (build from USB drive)
  • Installation of additional required software (YGM)
  • Validate SOE process (checklists to be supplied) , including is connected to Domain and applications deployed
  • Asset tag device
    
    
•  EXISTING device re-image
  • Backup device (method and process documented)
  • PXE boot device
  • Follow documented SOE reimage build process
  • Validate SOE reimage process (checklist to be supplied)
  • Installation of additional required software (YGM)
  • Asset tag device
    
    
•  User desk setup
  • Disconnection of existing equipment and recording & packing it up and moving to local storage area
  • Connection & test of new device (monitors, mouse, keyboard, network)
  • Record person device assigned to with Asset tag

 Skills & Experience

To successfully deliver this project you will need:

• Basic Knowledge of networking & General IT
• Good presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to travel across 5 various sites around Australia
• Be a graduate or Level 1 Support
