As part of delivering an enhanced customer experience, our client is implementing new digital technology capabilities and we are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to translate technical and business requirements into solution designs.
In your new role, your focus will be to evaluate and design infrastructure solutions, while creating solution architecture standards for infrastructure solutions.
This will include defining and establishing the cloud architecture, from conceptual vision to architecture specification; leading and transforming Cloud and Shared Services and Platform services to ensure optimal service delivery, and manage key business relationships to understand business needs and communicate the impact of technical decisions and changes on business outcomes.
Reporting to the Infrastructure Service Lead, you will actively support our clients' vision for their digital transformation, and create technology solutions that are consistent with the business strategy and deliver superior customer service.
To be successful, your background will include:- Degree qualifications in IT or related field, combined with AWS or Azure certifications (preferable at Advanced level)
- A deep knowledge of Cloud (AWS and Azure) and on -premise infrastructure servers, storage firewalls, load balancers and routers
- Experience leading cross functional teams and working with key stakeholders and business partners
- Significant expertise in technical architecture, including creating Technical Architecture documents
