Job Description

Capital Transport is a leading supplier of transport and logistics services across Australia. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Helpdesk Support Officer to join our IT Department located in Clayton. This position would suit a person starting their career in IT.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support across network, server and desktop hardware, mobile devices, software and other devices, including proprietary applications
  • User support via a helpdesk ticketing system ,as well as direct access via email, phone and in person
  • Local and remote support of workstations and servers
  • Create/Update user credentials in active directory, telephony system, plus other  standalone systems
  • Hardware builds and deployment
  • Create/Update technical documentation

 

Skills & Experience required:

  • Certificate IV in Networking or similar
  • Proven analytical experience and troubleshooting across a range of systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A willingness to learn
