Green Light are assisting in delivering projects for an industry leading organisation and have an immediate requirement for a talented Messaging Engineer to join our Canberra delivery team.

In this role the Messaging Engineer will perform day-to-day operational tasks to ensure the availability and performance of the system along with diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.

The Messaging Engineer will help deploy solutions in client environments and provide knowledge transfer to their internal teams.  The individual will also provide assistance as necessary to resolve any existing issues or problems that the client is faced with.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a team of Microsoft Lync/Exchange e-mail engineers in deployment of Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016 with high availability (>99.9%).
• Work closely with strategic vendors, technical staff and security managers to maintain Microsoft Exchange and related technologies in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years minimum experience supporting Microsoft Exchange in a high availability configuration, and recent experience with Exchange 2010/2016/O365.
• Client-server background in a complex WAN environment.
• Heavily experienced with common forms of electronic data transfer (email/ftp/fax), networking (TCP/IP) and Microsoft Windows OS (2008 a plus), SMTP RFC's, TCP sockets, DNS, etc.
• Training/experience in technical competencies such as Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server 2008/2012.
