FY18 was a huge year for Brand Collective and FY19 is shaping up to be even bigger as we’re planning for more growth across all our brands. To do this, we’re making big steps in recruiting a world class small team… and this could include you! Our awesome Ecommerce team continue to develop engaging and customer focused websites for all our brands – but now we want YOU to help us take that to the next level! This role has strong potential to be a permanent position in the business for the right person.
  
 What you have done and what you will do…

• You’ll work on front-end updates in a multi-branded, multi-platform environment
• You will build rich, responsive HTML emails (marketing, email communications, journey emails)
• You will get to work with the design team to implement improvements to storefront UI/UX & add new functionality
• You will perform hands-on software development tasks, prototyping, feature development, front-end api integration & everyone's favourite past-time - bug fixing
• You will also enjoy working with the greater developer team on components of larger scale projects
• You already understand & apply UI best practices to page templates, content, emails
• You previously have and will continue to work with ecommerce administrators/marketing team/design teams to implement campaigns & landing pages
• We would also LOVE for you to suggest initiatives, improvements and new technologies to help us improve the front-end experience of our sites.

Please note that this isn’t an entry level or junior role — you’ll need to be able to solve your own problems, manage yourself and make things happen with high quality standards being achieved. Above all, you’ll have a great attitude. This role would be ideal for a candidate with 2-5 years’ experience in an e-commerce retail environment. Alternatively, you may have worked in an agency environment with exposure to the e-commerce space.
  
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE REQUIRED?
Our ideal candidate for this role will have strong skills/experience in the following areas:
Languages / frameworks / platforms:

• BigCommerce (similarity to Shopify platform)
• JavaScript (ES6)
• HTML & SASS
• Stencil.js
• Git based version control
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud & MailChimp

Must have items that are directly related to the front-end development role are:

• Previous experience with Handlebars/Stencil.js projects
• Working with responsive HTML/CSS/JS frameworks & libraries
• Responsive eDM templating
• Microsite & landing page creation
• Able to work from provided designs & style guides to functional webpage
• Axios/Fetch
