Fujitsu are seeking a Presales Solution Architect  with a strong background in presales and project services. You will be a subject matter expert with experience of delivering and producing customer statement of works and solution designs, proven experience working with and influencing business and technology outcomes for clients. You are adept at explaining technology, service and commercial issues and the ability to demonstrate the benefits of a wide range of IT transformation services to our clients.

This role is suited to candidates with previous experience within domains such as cloud services,hosted infrastructure,applciation services,networking and end user computing.
This is an opportunity to work across multiple service domains and interact with senior level management within Fujitsu and the customer environment.
Responsibilities

• Close, frequent and regular interaction with the state sales teams to drive development and prosecution of the project sales plan
• Work directly and collaboratively with sales teams to qualify and close projects engagements
• Identify and develop new (greenfield) relationships and opportunities, either leading or collaborating with other Fujitsu personnel.
• Provide technical architecture design and support and advice during proposal writing, solution design and implementation.
• Deliver road mapping activities to Fujitsu clients to drive revenue from transformation projects
• Accountable for the development and technical integrity of the entire customer solution, including its cost effectiveness, supportability, viability and general fit to customer requirements.
• Accountable for direction/management of the Fujitsu technical design team on appropriate assignments, working with technical delivery teams. 
• Strong client interaction, must be able to understand the clients' business as well as technical requirements and then provide them with a suitable solution. 
• Close and regular interaction with the delivery and support teams to ensure clarity and awareness of all activities and plans.
• Regular interaction and liaison with Project Services Project Managers to ensure awareness of all activities and plans.
• Awareness and adherence to Fujitsu's service delivery processes and methods.
• Technology leadership, awareness of industry and technology trends as well as Fujitsu's broad range of products and services.
• Responsible for the technical input into qualification and business approval meetings.

What Do We Want From You?

• Experience in project and professional service pre-sales.
• Experience in formal design either as architect or in a senior technical or consulting role.
• Superior communication skills and personal presentation, both written and oral must be of the highest standard.
• Ability to generate trusted professional relationships with customers, third parties and within Fujitsu.
• Capable of effectively working and communicating with senior business management and technologists.
• Able to blend innovative technologies with pragmatic design and act as trusted technology advisor to Fujitsu customers.
• Experiences in the following; Hybrid IT architecture - public/private cloud infrastructure, hyperconverged technology and next generation networking,  cloud-enabled End User Computing - including Windows 10, Google, Cloud-hosted EUC and application architecture
• Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying complex enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Energy and enthusiasm.  This is a critical part of the role as it will involve differing levels or work and fluctuating volumes.
• Ability to manage workload is essential.
• Ability to work well in a small team is critical
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proactive and reactive.
