An exciting full-time opportunity for a Systems Analyst to provide technical support and further development of web platforms. The work ranges from scripting and data management through to working with stakeholders and designing how to achieve new business processes and improved outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Learning Management Systems, Website and Intranet.
- Monitor the overall use of web platforms and resolve faults, poor performance and any incidents affecting their operation.
- Work with system vendors to resolve technical issues
- Providing systems analysis through requirements gathering, documentation, solution reviews and systems configuration
- Developing operational plans to enable successful release management
- Provide advice and training (including the production and publishing of online of training materials) for all staff, parents and students in the use of web platforms.
- Work with other systems analysts to conduct appropriate database management maintenance activities
- Develop SQL scripts to provide client solutions
- Work with key clients, the Website Manager and the Head of Digital Learning and Practice to ensure the annual business cycle supporting students, teaching staff and parents is planned and delivered on schedule.
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with digital media technologies including website development and publishing
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS
- Skills in website content management and maintenance
- High level skills in SQL including thorough working knowledge of MS SQL Server, MySQL specifically, other RDBMS skills would be highly regarded
- Excellent working knowledge of enterprise information systems that manage customer data, their transactions, reports and publication to web sites or other channels.
- Significant experience in using content management systems such as Sitecore, Squiz, Drupal, Kentico or another commercial CMS.
- Experience in learning management systems, websites and intranets would be highly beneficial.
