Reporting to the Information Systems Manager you are part of a team dedicated to the acquisition, implementation and support of information systems environment that enables the student lifecycle from enrolment to alumni and the commercial operations that support the growth of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews with key stakeholders on business priorities, issues and influence the take up of standards, improvements, change and transformation
• Run workshops with clients including parents to establish and develop business needs
• Document needs through user stories, diagramming, charts and other modelling tools to explain and analyse processes and needs to develop and propose solutions to meet needs
• Conduct technical analysis of system options, configurations and operational practices to ensure solutions are accurate, robust, sustainable and affordable. Conduct assessment of competing products and develop selection and acquisition recommendations.
• Configure and manage change of student management systems
• Work with third parties to understand systems capabilities, features, roadmaps and changes in architectures that will be of advantage to the College

Skills:

• Experience working in or with a school systems, including scheduling, financials and marketing
• Be inquisitive and passionate about improving the outcomes for students, staff and their parents
• An excellent listener picking up nuances in communication and an ability to elicit the required detail from clients and stakeholders
• Proven excellent organisational and time management skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritise competing requests
• ITIL Foundation level certification or project management certification would be highly regarded
• High level skills in analysis techniques; workshops, stakeholder reviews, interviewing, data modelling, data management
• Excellent working knowledge of enterprise information systems including student management systems, directory services, online forms and web technologies.
