Seeking IT Financial Planning Manager for contract assignment with major Telco!

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Planning and Governance, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Act as a primary point of contact for all planning and financial control matters across the IT and Business functions
• Plan, manage, track and report on the overall IT budget encompassing Capex and Opex (including headcount)
• Identify savings and opportunities to synergise across the budget
• Lead a high performing and collaborative planning function
• Oversee the development, implementation and subsequent ongoing management of the Integrated IT Technology Delivery Plan
• Gather relevant information to construct recommendations to enable the leadership team to determine strategic roadmap
• Lead and manage the development of the IT annual roadmap based on scope, time, resources, risk, key dependencies and business benefits
• Drive the identification and mitigation of budget risks and govern their management
• Ensure that all budgets are set based on realistic plans supporting PMO and delivery accountabilities
• Establish regular reviews of the IT integrated plan in conjunction with inflight projects for forecast spend and risk

What you'll need to succeed

• A strong Financial Control and Planning background with interfaces into IT
• Commercial experience in a Telecommunications operational environment
• An understanding of the IT Project Lifecycle
• Fiscal forecasting and resource planning in a matrix environment
• Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills
