Cognizant is hiring Java Developer - Microservices Position in Melbourne. 

Responsibilities: 

• Developing Microservices using spring boot.
• Building reusable components and libraries for future use
• Translating designs into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance.

Mandatory Skills: 

• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE & Spring boot.
• Thorough understanding of micro services and its core principles
• Experience with popular Java patterns.
• Experience with data structure libraries
• Experience in web technologies such as; NodeJS, JQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS, EmberJS is desirable
• Experience with rapid prototyping of application concepts.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as GIT
• Working knowledge of back-end stacks (e.g. Ruby, SQL & noSQL databases).
