Responsibilities:
As a Systems Engineer , you be responsible for providing our clients L1/L2/L3 systems engineer support from a helpdesk function. You will work in a team of Infrastructure Consultants and act as one of our key support people. Initiative and teamwork are core characteristics you’ll need to succeed in this role.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years in Microsoft environments
- Minimum 5 years Virtualisation experience
- Minimum 5 years in Managed Services and or cloud environments
About You:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and Virtualisation (VMware and Hyper-V)
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Networking skills (LAN, WAN)
- Knowledge in security
- Knowledge/experience using Azure and Office 365
- Citrix and Remote desktop experience
- Veeam Backup and recovery experience
- Cisco and Fortitnet experience
- Highly organized and detail-oriented to meet high service level expectations
- Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment
- A quick learner who seeks to continually improve their capacity to take on increased responsibilities
