Your key responsibilities:
- Exciting opportunity to advance your IT career and gain exposure to a diverse range of technologies with an experienced team
- Be one of our key second level support people for our valued clients and assist with second level support as required
- Ensure outstanding customer service is maintained at all times
- Trouble-shoot basic technical issues for our clients giving them instant peace of mind
- Develop and review base instruction documentation
- Provide after-hours client support on a shared roster
Your key experience:
- Basic-intermediate experience in a customer service or technical support role
- Working knowledge of help desk software, databases and remote control
- Display a basic understanding and desire to learn one or more of the following: VMware/vSphere, Veeam/Backup Exec, MS AD, Linux, Backup and data recovery, networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN/Tunnelling, Routing, DNS), network fundamentals, server and/or storage solutions, MS Server Technologies, Citrix, VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft - Server, Exchange, AWS/Azure and/or Office 365
- Be security conscious
- Wintel environment exposure
