Established for more than thirty-three years and admitted into the Australian Export Awards Hall of Fame in 2009, our Toowoomba based client (Russell Mineral Equipment), is the acknowledged world leader in a specialist category of mining related equipment.
Based at the global Head Office in Toowoomba and reporting to a Senior Systems Engineer, in this role you will work closely with other members of the Information Systems Team to commission, maintain and decommission information technology hardware and operating systems.
This will involve: undertaking planned changes to servers, storage and network systems; undertaking changes and patching on assigned dates; commissioning and decommissioning new items to servers, storage and network systems; supporting project work with appropriate technology capability; identify, troubleshoot and debug defects in designated application code; and associated administration and reporting.
Your success in this diverse and rewarding role will be underpinned by your strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills, demonstrated ability to work within a security-centric environment and your attention to detail.
Technology-wise you will be proficient with Microsoft Server technologies, including AD, DNA, Kerberos, as well as Hyper-V, Azure and Office 365.
Significant relevant experience and the ability to undertake work activities outside of conventional business hours is essential. Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certification and experience with Dell hardware will be a distinct advantage.
This is a full-time contract role based in Toowoomba, the duration of which is anticipated to be approximately 12 months, with the successful candidate's standard work week being Sunday to Thursday.
