Senior AIX Systems Engineer is currently required for a 12 months contract to join a technical team to be responsible for high availability and stability of multiple AIX Unix environment hosted on pSeries hardware.. This includes monitoring, performance tuning, patching, backup, automation, security and disaster recovery.
To be successful in this position you will be a highly experienced AIX Unix Engineer who has solid experience AIX versions 5.x, 7.x and Power 8. You will also have experience with managing and tuning VIOs and with troubleshooting Unix scripts. Excellent communication, problem solving and planning skills are a must.
