Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead team of analysts to build analytics solutions for a leading Insurance client
• Understand project specific requirements from the client; design documents and develop codes/tools in SAS/R, SQL and VBA
• Merge data from multiple sources including various legacy systems as well as from data marts and warehouses for modeling and analysis purpose using SQL and R
• Use Natural Language Processing and text analytics algorithms such as Topic Modeling, LDA etc. to convert unstructured data into structured information
• Use Machine Learning algorithms(Neural Nets, Random Forests, KNN etc.) to build models as per requirement, documentation of models
• Manage and mentor analysts in the team

 Requirements:

• Bachelors in Computer Engineering/IT with 10+ years of experience(8+ years if Masters in related field or M.B.A)
• Expertise in SAS and SQL and good knowledge of R or Python
• Experience in building statistical models using traditional and machine learning methods
