Established for more than thirty-three years and admitted into the Australian Export Awards Hall of Fame in 2009, our Toowoomba based client (Russell Mineral Equipment), is the acknowledged world leader in a specialist category of mining related equipment.
Based at the global Head Office in Toowoomba and reporting to the Senior Applications Analyst Programmer, in this role you will work closely with key business stakeholders to define and document business requirements and processes, while also undertaking needs analysis, systems analysis and systems development, testing and release.
This will involve: understanding, analysing and documenting scope and business requirements for strategic routine projects; supporting the Senior Applications Analyst Programmer in developing and identifying technical solutions to business problems, providing technical documentation using formal business standard templates; working closely with team members and providing thoughtful leadership in order to develop agile project backlogs; planning, designing and developing new feature functionalities for software applications; identifying, troubleshooting and debugging defects in designated application code; and associated administration and reporting.
Your success in this challenging and rewarding role will be underpinned by your strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills, ability to work within a agile/rapid development environment and your attention to detail.
Technology-wise you will be proficient with programming language tools (such as C#), have experience with a source code control environment (such as TFS), and have experience with the practical application of the MS Office suite of applications.
Significant experience with the development of desktop and mobile software is essential. Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certification, and experience with ERP and CRM systems, MS Cloud Solutions (such as Office 365, PowerApps, Flow and PowerBI), SSRS, SSAS, SSIS and SQL will be a distinct advantage.
This is a full-time contract role based in Toowoomba, the duration of which is anticipated to be approximately 24 months.
