Information Assurance in today's highly networked environments is essential to ensure business continuity and desired military outcomes. Nova Systems Information and Cyber Security Program brings together a capability of highly qualified professionals that has acquired specialised knowledge to support organisations in achieving their objectives.
Nova has developed Cyber Security capabilities in Security Requirements Definition, Security Architecture Design, Network Security Controls and Assessments, Network Security Certification/Accreditation, and Incident and Recovery Planning.
We are seeking expressions of interest from Cyber specialists in Canberra for upcoming opportunities in 2018. Come and join a company that has regularly featured as a top 50 best places to work!
We offer permanent employees a generous professional development allowance and up to 5 days professional development leave per annum.
Ideally you'll have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Certification and accreditation of Defence or Government ICT systems;
- ICT Security Architecture Design;
- Information Assurance;
- Familiarity with the PSPF, ISM and DSM and other security policy documents;
- Understanding of ICT Security Risk Management and methodologies;
- Experience in vulnerability assessments;
- Network Engineering;
- Penetration testing.
Highly Desirable skills / experience sets:
- Recent experience in certification and accreditation of Defence ICT systems;
- Detailed understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF);
- Information Security Manual (ISM) and Defence Security Manual (DSM) and other security policy documents;
- Experience in ICT Security Risk Management and methodologies;
- Understanding of the IRAP Certification process.
Ideally you will be working towards, or have one or more of the following qualifications Qualifications / certifications:
- BACH Degree in a relevant area - (Computer Science, Software) or equivalent;
- Certified Industry System Security Professional (CISP) /Certified Industry Systems, Security Manager (CISSM)
- Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC);
- Global Information Assurance Certification Forensic Analyst (GCFA);
- CISCO accreditation.
