IT Infrastructure Engineer - 12 month contract - Great Council Organisation - Bass Coast region

Your new role
Reporting to the IT Operations Coordinator, you will:
- Operate, maintain, develop and ensure the resilience of Council’s IT infrastructure
- Manage Active Directory, including the creation of user accounts, their associated groups and security
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies and procedures relating to Council’s IT Infrastructure
- Provide advice and guidance to key stakeholders on the selection of best value technology solutions
- Contribute to the operation of the IT Help Desk, providing 3rd level technical expertise to resolve escalated incidents and service requests
- Ensure that all incidents and service requests received resolved
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of virtualised cloud and hybrid IT infrastructure environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Servers, VMware, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, desktop applications and Active Directory.
- Project Management experience is highly desirable
- Ability to build relationships with all relevant stakeholders
- Current Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and managing risk and resilience within an Information Systems environment
- Strong personal resilience and ability to work in a team-based environment
