What's On Offer?Due to increased growth, Fujitsu Federal Government Region have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to join the Protective Cloud Service team in Canberra. This is a new leadership role tasked with developing and maintaining a high performing Operations Team to support our Protective Cloud customer accounts. This role will provide SME advice for technical direction and improvements whilst leading the delivery of requested technical services.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure Operations staff work collaboratively with other business areas as part of the larger service delivery organisation.
- Ensure Operations staff have an avenue to input improvements.
- Provide advice and guidance to team members for the purpose of upgrading and cross-skilling knowledge.
- Identify, diagnose and resolve all incidents related to the operations and team management to ensure systems are maintained to a high level of availability and reliability.
- Schedule and manage routine tasks to ensure that systems are maintained to a high level of availability and reliability.
- Provide expert technical advice and contribute to the planning and implementing of ongoing improvements to support processes.
- Ensure maintenance of the procedural documentation associated with operational support.
- Estimate and monitor the work effort required and ensure that sufficient resources are available for meeting agreed timeframes and performance SLAs.
- Accountability for technical and service offering improvement with the environment.
- Run problem and major incident management for Protected Cloud Services.
- Ensure Service Delivery expectations are met through liaison with the Service Delivery Manager.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the 'infrastructure as software' deployment and support model.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following:
- Demonstrated Service Management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Operations Management.
- 5+ years in managing ICT Delivery teams.
- Practical working knowledge and experience in the following technologies:
- Windows
- SCOM
- SCCM
- Linux
- AD
- Group Policy
- Architecture
- Application hosting
- Monitoring
- Excellent analytical and problem solving approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and take initiative.
