Our client is a well-known consultancy currently on a search for an experienced Process Control Network (PCN) Support Specialist to join thheir PCN Support team in Information Systems (IS).
Reporting to the Process Control Network Team Lead this role will be based on Barrow Island, on 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, fly in fly out (FIFO) roster. The PCN Support team is responsible for support of all critical Operational Technology (OT) assets part of the Industrial Control Systems.
The role will have specific responsibilities which include Infrastructure, Operating System and Networking technology design, support and diagnosis with the emphasis on maintaining ICS system availability. This role will team with the Central, site based Automation and the Field sub-teams to maintain a robust and reliable ICS and ensure the compliance of these systems to mitigate known cyber-security vulnerabilities.
The following attributes will be highly regarded:
- System support experience specializing in ICS environments with an understanding of the Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture
- OT/ICS experience and can appreciate the criticality of assets.
- Hands-on configuration experience of a variety of industrial control networking equipment to enable and maintain communications from field devices to central control room
- Experience in managing cyber security incidents
- Complete understanding and experience implementing and maintaining the NIST cyber security framework within an industrial control system
- Scripting (Powershell) experience for the automation of tasks
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of high available DCS /SCADA environments
- Experience in Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Plans including test plans and fail-over testing
- Experience and technically competent in supporting various server and workstation platforms such as Microsoft Windows Server and VMware in an OT environment
- Experience in diagnosis, problem solving, and resolving of complex OT/IT technical issues
- Demonstrable operational support of multi-vendor / multi-disciplined environment
- Experience in Yokogawa Industrial Control System (ICS) is preferred
- Proficient in their understanding of, and able to communicate with, technical practitioners about:
- SCADA, DCS, PLCs, HMIs, Engineering applications such as Alarm Management, Advance Process Control
- OPC, PI Historians
- System integration, network topology and protocols such as VNET, TCP/IP, Modbus
