Capabilities:

1. Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities
2. Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritized and planning
3. Identify new business opportunities regarding the use of information assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the market / represent data as a strategic business asset at the Senior Management table

Working with your team

1. Delivering and managing the data governance strategy and framework across all business units and each data domain
2. Developing and maintaining data frameworks, policies and procedures for the capture, management, dissemination and manipulation of the organisation’s data, driving their adoption
3. Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s principal information assets
4. Coordinating Data Governance projects across multiple areas
5. Serve as a liaison between Business and Support areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements for managing and protecting critical and sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritisation and planning
6. Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, and adoption requirements across the enterprise
7. Identify new business opportunities regarding the use of information assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness / represent data as a strategic business asset at the Senior Management table

Experience and Qualifications:

1. 7+ Years in a Financial or services organization, with large-scale data or project management and oversight experience
2. 5+ Years in a senior management position, change or transformation leadership experience
3. Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
4. Industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
5. Consulting skills with change management concepts and strategies
6. Upbeat and Positive attitude with the ability to communicate and work with stakeholders across all levels of the company
