Our client is a large digital agency and we are supporting them with the search for a Senior Sitecore Developer. As a Senior Sitecore Developer you will be working in a team of Technical Specialists who support many of the projects across the business.

You will be responsible for defining the scope, developing and implementing technical solutions utilising the latest technologies whilst adhering to industry standards, methodologies and best practice in relation to Sitecore solutions.

You will be working closely with the Technical Director and will feed into the designing and planning of complex Sitecore solutions build on Sitecore 8/9. You will liaise closely with the internal production team to ensure that projects are running on time and are following the correct QA processes. Attention to detail is essential to ensure high quality solutions are produced and communicated effectively with the project managers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & develop practical solutions to technical problems.
• Accurately estimate and work within design/development/delivery estimates.
• Write clear-cut technical documents discussing the solution objectives and requirements.
• Report to the Technical Director, the Technical Lead and the Project Manager's on progress and performance.
• Liaise and work with the internal production team, help to ensure that the project is delivered on time and bug free.
• Focus on delivering business priority and value at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the internal test team and the client on all levels.
• Keep up to date in emerging technologies and new developments in the industry, specifically in web based technologies with a strong focus on Sitecore and its supporting modules and integration frameworks.
• Ensuring project development hours are adhered to and notify the Development Manager / Project Manager immediately should hours look at being exceeded.
• Ensuring projects are to budget and within the allocated timeframe.
• Display working knowledge in emerging technologies and new products.
• Ensure all project details are kept confidential.
• Continually providing efficient, bug free and exceptional solutions and code.
• Working and communicating well with other team members and clients.
• Effectively managing the projects and other developers that are involved with the project.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years experience with .Net
• 3+ years experience with Sitecore
• Ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Sitecore Experience Commerce
• Intermediate knowledge of HTML/CSS and Javascript
• Excels in an open, creative and collaborative environment
