As a part of a major business system implementation, this government client is looking to add an experienced solution architect to their team.  The vendor has been appointed and some initial requirement gathering has begun.  

Your role will be to work closely with the business and the vendor to deliver technical solution design over a number of key areas around cloud hosting, application design ( review current and identify gaps) Security and integration. 

We'll be looking to understand examples of where you have delivered design documents and overall solutions for the areas above 
 
Some of your duties will include:

• Developing technology and system architecture artefacts (solution designs, Application design, user experience design, interface, and specification design)
• Assisting to identify best practice for data security, user and system access
• Ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture roadmap
• Providing architectural services across a highly complex environment

  
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following experience:

• At least 6 years' experience in systems architecture
• Experience in architecting and deploying web-based and web-enabled business applications, and cloud-based architectures (Azure) and roadmaps
• Experience in application modelling, including logical and physical modelling, use case and sequence diagrams and practical experience with architecture and solution modelling tools
• Development of integrated service management solutions in large and complex IT environments hosted in the cloud(Azure)
• Understand Agile methodology
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience working with closely with vendors to ensure customisations align with the architectural roadmap
