Our client is a large, federal government department currently seeking a Security Architect to join a central architecture team to service different areas within the dept.

What your day will look like:

• Determining security requirements,
• Creating security designs that support project outcomes and protect Departmental resources
• Producing security risk management plans and threat assessments.
• Develop SSP, SRMP, security overview documents, TRAs, provide advice and guidance to assist multiple projects.

What you'll need for success:

• Be familiar with IRAP within the government environment (including ISM, SSP SRMP, TRAs and SOPs)
• Experienced in developing a target security architecture for multiple systems and platforms
• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorisation and security in the context of network, application, API and data security
• Experienced in Risk Management (Security Risks, Threat Modelling, Security Policies, Vulnerability Management)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
