The Company
Our client is a leading ASX top 50 organisation currently undertaking a major Digital transformational initiative across the organisation, to improve and enhance their customers' journey and experiences, whilst delivery new products and services.
The Role
Forming part of the Digital team they have a requirement for a Senior Agile Business Analyst to join a squad made up of Product Owner, Devs, Tech Lead and UX Lead. The Senior BA will be responsible for not only the requirement gathering and workshops, but also Iteration Management and mentoring and coaching junior BA's across the different squads.
This organisation is mature in their agile principals, hence require a candidates with strong agile and digital Product experience. This role not only offers candidates an opportunity to work with highly talented developers but also some of Melbourne's agile thought leaders. Whilst also offering the opportunity to work on an exciting Digital Products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating business requirements and specifying effective business processes;
- Decompose initiative into epics and stories utilising INVEST;
- Work collaboratively with a product owners to identify a minimum viable product;
- Facilitate agile estimation / planning workshop;
- Mentor and guide Junior BA's
- Lead and the drive the discovery workshops across the organisation;
- Ensure a quality end-product by collaborating closely with team members throughout delivery;
- Provide validation of existing requirements & identifying new business requirements;
- Supporting implementation of projects across different business units;
- Participate in change activities and adopt new ways of working to support organisational changes required to create and sustain IT & technology capabilities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong Business Analyst experience with strong Agile experience;
- Strong Digital Product experience working on the end to end deliver of complex Digital Products;
- Previous mentorship and coaching experience required;
- Strong Stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders and teams;
- Strong Agile experience ideally minimum 5 years working in an Agile environments.
