Milestone IT is working with this amazing national blue chip client who are currently seeking a digital designer on contract for 12 months who can assist them in the design of their banner and advertising capability. Working with html5, css3 and understanding responsive development, you will be the face of the advertising capability.
Essential skills:
Have strong design and branding principles
Strong typography skills & attention to detail
Solid Sketch, Photoshop, Animate knowledge
Think mobile up, not desktop down
Design Mobile apps
Wireframing and UI prototyping
Basic HTML, CSS, HTML5 (banners and Ads)
Good InDesign and Illustrator skills
Able to work collaboratively with designers, developers, clients and suits
Mentoring - you like to share ideas, encourage and guide others
A good communicator and have an approachable nature
Minimum 5 years experience in Digital/UI/UX/Web design
Desired skills:
Front end development knowledge/basic dev capability (Eg. An understanding of the limitations and constraints of HTML / CSS, versed in the concept of fluid containers and responsive design, able to cut up and layout pages in HTML / CSS)
Above all else, excellent communication skills and a desire to join a brilliant business are instrumental.
