The opportunity
I have a brilliant permanent, principal-level, full stack Java engineer position available within a large enterprise organisation in the Sydney CBD. This is a perfect opportunity for a solution focused polyglot developer who is ready to take the reins of a Principal Product Engineer position while remaining hands on.
The team and environment
You'll be working within an agile, pared programming development environment and will have the highly satisfying task of building and deploying the next generation of innovative, user-centric web and multimedia software.
You'll be coaching and mentoring the team in product development and providing technical direction in development technologies and processes.
Additional responsibilities will include providing targeted advice to the product owner and stakeholders on the design, building and deployment of the software as well as developing and enhancing best practices to enable efficient product development.
Who I’m looking for
I'm looking for a lead or principal level developer with 10 or more years of full stack development experience with front-end (Angular.JS, jQuery, Bootstrap) and backend (Node.js, Spring, Hibernate, Java and J2EE) technologies and frameworks as well as solid experience with AWS cloud deployment and management.
You’ll have an excellent understanding of build and configuration management, continuous integration delivery and have proven experience managing product design and software development projects within an Agile/DevOps environment.
