This is a fantastic opportunity for a high calibre Full Stack Java Developer to join one of our leading clients in Melbourne /Sydney

Required Experience as a Full Stack Java Developer

•         5+ years of experience in designing. Developing and implementing business application in Java/J2EE while delivering enhancement of existing applications.

•         Experienced in writing high-quality, well-tested code in one or more language such as Java

•         Experienced working with operations and architecture groups developing scalable and supportable applications

•         Experience in solving application level design problems, resulting in robust systems

•         Understand customer needs, current state landscape and relevant technologies  to make sound judgments

•         Ability to triage and diagnose defects/issues across the full stack and Use continuous delivery practices to increase delivery speed

•         Pays attention to detail and demonstrates problem solving capability to develop and deliver quality applications

•         Has a thirst and willingness to expand knowledge with new technologies, bringing benefits into the Tribe

•         Work in collaborative teams to build innovative solutions, Implement a culture within the Tribe and the Chapter, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation

•         Utilise tools and practices to build, verify and deploy solutions in the most efficient ways, enhancing tech division capabilities

•         Create estimates and continuously review demand within the individual Squads

•         Contribute to Engineering communities, meetups and conferences to promote technology development culture and practices

•         Create, understand and monitor application metrics and Provide ongoing support for platforms as required e.g. problem and incident management

Highly Desired

·       Experience in Java, React Native, React/Redux, Spring Boot, Node.js, Web Frameworks, Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, SQL (Oracle/Postgres), NoSQL (MongoDB), CI/CD, Process Automation.

·       Domain Knowledge: Agile Software development, CI\CD, Cloud based technologies, engineering iconic user experiences and knowledge of financial services products
