Immediate requirement in Sydney for a Project Manager with a background in the delivery of broadcast technology projects.
The Role:
Lead multiple work streams and end-to-end project activities for a global broadcast technology solutions company working with major, tier 1 customers in the professional broadcast TV and media industry.
The Project Manager will be required to coordinate resources, budgets, track and manage risks and issues, investigate change proposals, report on project progress and ultimately ensure successful delivery of all project activities in line with scope and timelines.
The Project Manager will coordinate project teams and customer resources to ensure timely delivery of major systems deliverables and associated change requirements impacting people, processes and technology.
What we need:
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with good knowledge of project delivery fundamentals / processes plus exposure to digital content delivery technology in a contemporary Broadcast TV or IPTV environment.
- Minimum 5 years of PM experience;
- Exposure to file-based broadcasting or IP content delivery;
- Strong communication and reporting skills;
- Organised and detail-oriented;
- Analytical problem-solving skills;
- Engaging customer-facer.
High-quality documentation is required and being a customer-facing position, strong communication skills and an approachable personality are absolutely vital. As this role covers the Australia and SE Asia territory, regular travel to customer sites is to be expected.
