The role is a 12 month fixed term, it involves administration and maintenance of large vSphere environments and also to be involved in projects including Data Centre Relocations and various vSphere upgrades.
  
Skill and Responsibilities:

• Strong VMware based Virtualisation\Server Administration experience including Horizon View
• Maintain and support Virtualisation based Systems
• Maintain and support Windows Servers, Server standards, Server Application and services
• Server Storage\SAN Administration experience
• Windows and Linux Server Administration experience
• Experience administering VMware, vSphere, x86 Server management and Dell-EMC Shared Storage solutions.
• Exposure to Virtual Desktop Infrastructure - VMware Horizon View
• Demonstrated experience scripting and automating using PowerShell\PowerCLI.

Desirable:

• VMware vRealize Suite- vROps etc, Splunk. Virtualisation Capacity Management experience for a large enterprise.
• Current VMware and\or Microsoft IT Qualifications\Certifications (Eg MCSE, VCP)
