- 5 month contract role with the possibility to extend
Our client is a government agency in the early stages of enabling a wide range of Microsoft cloud services such as, Dynamics 365, Portals, SharePoint Online and the Office 365 suite of apps. They are looking for a candidate to join their dynamic team for a minimum of 5 months and assist throughout the various stages of their strategy.
You will be reporting directly to the Assistant Director of the Digital Development team and you will use your in-depth knowledge of software development methodologies to create new services and enhance existing systems to help our client succeed in the Digital world. You will have the autonomy to make decisions and explore new approaches to solving system challenges.
Who you will be:
You will be an experienced Full Stack Developer with a passion for shipping your best work and working collaboratively with your peers. As a self-starter who is open to receiving feedback, you will be an excellent problem solver with a knack for analysing requirements and translating them into product specifications.
You will have experience or knowledge of:
- C#, SQL (database design, stored procedures, permissions, etc), .NET, MVC, SSRS, REST and API technologies.
- An understanding of software testing and release methodologies, including unit testing using TFS or VSTS
- Working in an Agile environment to ship incremental improvements
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Dynamics 365 + Portals, Azure Data and Developer Services, XML, VB .NET
- Knowledge of security concepts such as OWASP
