The Company

My client is looking for a L1/L2 IT Help Desk support analyst to join their team on a long term basis supporting a creative media agencies in the CBD

You will be providing first and second level technical support to the business and be part of a well established team of analysts.

The ideal candidate will have L1/L2 support experience in an IT Help Desk environment and a background with application support

Skills and Experience 

  • OS support and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with Windows Server 2003 to 2012 or Mac OS
  • MS Active Directory and Exchange 
  • Virtualisation - VMware/Hyper V/Citrix
  • Backup management and maintenance
  • Experience supporting Apple products would be very beneficial
  • Support of MacOS will be very beneficial but not essential

 
Duties and Responsibility’s 
 

  • Serving as the first point of contact with excellent customer service for clients seeking support through phone and email
  • Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques 
  • Providing accurate information on IT services and support
  • Escalating tickets to the relevant technical support
  • Experience with Windows server, Active Directory and Exchange
  • Incident logging through ticketing system
