AWS Cloud Support Engineer!
I am currently working with an AWS professional services Partner Company based in the Sydney CBD.
They are specialists in AWS design, delivery and support of cloud based solutions both in the public and private sector.
My client is currently seeking a junior AWS Cloud support engineer to join the team for a permanent opportunity.
This will give the successful candidate a great chance to fine tune their client consulting skills whilst also getting the chance to work on state of the art technologies in the cloud space.
The role will provide exposure to a number of cutting edge technologies in the burgeoning cloud space.
Note: you must have full working rights to be considered for the role.
Role Responsibilities and requirements:
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an existing delivery team made up of support engineers to effectively support enterprise size AWS Clients.
- You must have the aptitude to work to set client SLA's via a ticketing management system.
- 24/7 on call roster.
- Demonstrated previous experience working in an IT support role (ideally with AWS).
- You will have excellent written communication skills and will be required to assist the team manager with reporting and documentation responsibilities.
- Effectively be responsible for providing 2nd level support for incident response.
- Previous working experience with AWS.
- Strong skills and experience with troubleshooting and windows administration.
- Demonstrated networking and security knowledge.
- Linux administration skills.
Desirable:
- CI/CD Skills and exposure, as well as DevOps configuration management.
- SPLUNK/ELK exposure.
